The first Executive meeting of CNewsLive, Oman wing was held on 20th March 2022 presided by Jo Kavalam, Chief Editor in the presence of Lizy K Fernandez, CEO of CNewsLive.

The meeting started with a prayer by Sajimon, the Joint Coordinator. He also welcomed the gathering. All the members further introduced themselves. The first ever Oman meeting was rich with the participation of the members.

Lizy K Fernandez, Global coordinator, explained in detail about the inception of CNewsLive, its function, and the presence worldwide. She said that it is the need of the hour, where true news is marginalized. The news channel which is registered in the US is having its presence in all 6 continents. The general public has accepted the news portal and its functions wholeheartedly.

Jo Kavalam, the Chief Editor explained the importance of CNewsLive and the need to maintain secular values in presenting news. In all continents, a CNewsLive Readers Forum is created which is very active. The Readers forum plays a major role to bring to the public different kinds of news articles such as political, religious, social, financial, and cultural aspects of the society.

A nine-member committee was elected from among the members during the meeting. The Executive Committee comprises of Jijo Kadanthottu Coordinator), Sajimon Thekkel Joseph (Joint Coordinator), Beena Paily (Secretary) Bro. Freddy Francis (Joint Secretary), Jose Augustine the Treasurer, Jojy Varghese (Asst. Treasurer) and Joban Thomas, Jain Kochuveettil, Shine Thomas.

Anu and Simmy were entrusted with the technical side and English Translation section of CNewsLive, respectively.

The meeting concluded with Vote of thanks by the elected coordinator and a thanksgiving prayer by Jose Augustine.
