Gwadar - A targeted assault on Chinese citizens in Pakistan's Balochistan province resulted in the tragic deaths of four Chinese nationals. The incident occurred on Sunday in Gwadar, a port city, where a convoy of seven vehicles carrying Chinese engineers was subjected to a violent attack near the Faqeer Colony bridge. The assault involved explosions and gunfire by armed rebels. In response, Pakistani security forces engaged the attackers in a gunfight and successfully neutralized two terrorists.
Reports indicate that four Chinese nationals lost their lives in the attack, while the violence also claimed the lives of nine security personnel. The suspected perpetrators behind this assault are believed to be members of the Balochistan Liberation Army.
