Thiruvananthapuram : NORKA and the German Federal Employment Agency signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the ‘Triple Win’ project on 2nd December. This project aims to create employment opportunities for Keralite nurses in Germany. The signing of the MOU was telecast live on NORKA Roots Facebook page.
The Chief Minister informed that more than 8500 nursing graduates are graduating from Kerala each year. Through this project the best candidates will be recruited.
The project has paved the way for recruitment to the health sector in Germany, one of the world's leading industrialized countries. The Chief Minister also said that tens of thousands of vacancies are expected in Germany after Covid.

“NORKA and the German Federal Employment Agency have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to secure employment for Keralite nurses in Germany. Recruitment to the health sector in Germany, one of the world's leading industrialized countries, has opened because of NORKA's efforts to adapt to changes in the global workforce.
Named ‘Triple Win’, it is the first government-level recruitment drive in India to Germany. Triple Win is the first step towards taking advantage of the vast job opportunities available in other European countries.
It is estimated that there will be tens of thousands of nursing vacancies in Germany after Covid. The health sector is expected to have more than 2.5 million vacancies worldwide in the next decade. More than 8500 Nursing graduates are produced in Kerala every year. Through this project it is possible to recruit the best candidates.”
In addition to NORKA Resident Vice Chairman P. Ramakrishnan, Consular in the Department of Social and Labor Affairs at the German Embassy, Timothy Felder Rosetti, German Honorary Consular, Syed Ibrahim, Officer on Special duty (Foreign affairs) K.M. Abraham, NORKA General Manager, Ajith Kolassery were also present at the signing ceremony.
