The post-mortem report of Sri Lankan national Priyantha Kumara Diyawadana, revealed that all his bones were broken. Ninety nine percent of his body was burnt following gruesome lynching in Pakistan. The report outlined skull and jaw fractures as the cause of death of Diyawadana. His spinal cord was smashed in three different points.
Due to the attack, the vital organs, liver, stomach and one of Diyawadana’s kidneys were affected. Barring one foot, every part of his body sustained severe injuries.
Earlier on Friday, supporters of the hard-line local party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) attacked a garment factory and tortured Diyawadana, general manager of Rajko Industries. They then set his body on fire. Several among the irritated mob also clicked selfies with of the thrashings and shared videos on social media. Some of the accused even spoke to news channels describing how they went about the killing.
