Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Operation Sindoor as a landmark achievement showcasing India’s advanced technology and military prowess. Speaking at the inauguration of several projects in Bengaluru, he credited the mission’s success to the nation’s indigenous innovations under the Make in India initiative, which he said had unveiled a new image of India to the world.
“Operation Sindoor stands as a testament to the strength of our armed forces,” the Prime Minister stated. “We demolished terrorist hideouts located far beyond our borders, and within hours, forced Pakistan-backed militants to surrender. This operation demonstrated to the world a transformed, confident India.”
Adding to the significance of the mission, the Indian Air Force Chief recently disclosed that five Pakistani fighter jets were downed during the operation. These aircraft were neutralized by India’s air defence systems marking the first official confirmation from the Air Force that Pakistani warplanes had been shot down.
