Coonoor helicopter crash, No sabotage; Reports investigators

New Delhi : No foul play was found, reported a team of investigators examining the Coonoor helicopter crash that killed 13 people, including Joint Chief of Staff General Bipin Rawat. They concluded that the accident may have been caused by a fault caused by bad weather.

The helicopter was found to have no technical faults. The investigation led by Air Marshal Manavendra Singh concluded. The report will be published in two weeks.

Meanwhile, the Kerala Chief Minister visited the house of Pradeep, a junior warrant officer who died in a helicopter crash in Coonoor. Pinarayi Vijayan, who reached home yesterday, consoled Pradeep's family. The Chief Minister paid homage to the picture of Pradeep which was placed in front of the house. The CM also spoke to Pradeep's father Radhakrishnan who was lying ill.

The CM also spoke to Pradeep's wife Sreelakshmi, children Dakshindev and Devprayaga, mother Padmini, Pradeep's younger brother Prasad, Padmini's sister Saraswati, Sreelakshmi's father Janardhanan and Sreelakshmi's mother Ambika.
