Changanassery - Officials of Yuvadeepti SMYM Archdiocese have lodged a complaint with the state police chief against the contempt and insult of Christian monasticism and Christianity by sharing inappropriate pictures of some women, wearing a nuns’ habit, in the guise of freedom of expression.

The complaint alleges a violation of the rights granted to religious faiths in the constitution.

Conscious actions to condemn religious profession should be prevented. By using the habit for an inappropriate photoshoot in the name if freedom of expression, will give a wrong impression to the public on the sanctity of this Holy garment and tarnish the image of Nuns.

Such attempts should be legally rectified, requested Yuvadeepti SMYM in their complaint.
