Muscat: it is a prestigious moment for the Salalah Airport. It has has won two international awards provided by the Airports Council International (ACI) on the experience of passengers at airports around the world in 2021.
The first award was for the best airport in the Middle East in the quality of services in the category of airports with less than two million passengers annually. The second award was for the best airport in the Middle East in health procedures during the “Covid 19” pandemic.
Salim bin Awad Al Yafei, Executive Vice President of Salalah Airport, indicated that working in an environment similar to the conditions of the “Covid 19” pandemic, gives indications of the ability of the work team, the authorities operating at the airport and all strategic partners to deal with high professionalism with exceptional circumstances that may sometimes stand in the way of the work environment and response.
Al Yafei praised the efforts of the Salalah Airport family from all its operating bodies to provide a distinguished service to all airport visitors and travellers for providing superior customer experiences despite the circumstances, which constituted an important turning point in enhancing services.
