Apple will make the iPhone 14 in India as manufacturers shift production from China amid geopolitical tensions and pandemic restrictions, the company said on Monday.
The company aims to shift 5% of Apple iPhone 14 production from China to India by the end of 2022. It is also reported that it is likely to reach 25 % by 2025.
The company also announced that 25 % of the Apple products currently manufactured in China will be shipped to other countries. India is the second largest smartphone market in the world after China.
