Bangkok: The Catholic Congress Global Conference began in Bangkok. The Global Nasrani General Meeting will also conduct jointly with this. Representatives from 42 countries will participate in the global meet which will be held till 24th. The theme of the conference is 'Unity to Glory'.

The gathering will be a platform to ensure the cooperation of people from different countries and initiate various initiatives for the progress and unity of the community at global level. Schemes will be devised to help those who go to different countries for work and study purposes.

Adv. Inauguration at Biju Pariyanilam and welcome by Global General Secretary Joseph Kochu Param. Jobi Kakassery also thanked.

And 'Vision 2030' action plan will be presented as a new action plan. Panel discussions, debates, project presentations and seminars will be held as part of the meet. Catholic Congress President Adv. Syro-Malabar Sabha Major Archbishop Cardinal Mar George Alenchery will inaugurate the Global Nasrani General Meeting presided over by Biju Parayannilam.

Justice Kurian Joseph, Bishops Mar Raphael Thattil, Mar Sebastian Vadakkel, Mar Jose Chituparampil, Catholic Congress General Secretary Rajeev Kochuparampil, Director Fr. Jio Kadavi, General Convener Joseph Mathew Parekat, Convener Ranjith Joseph, Joskutty Phaiyil and Tessy B Ju will speak.

MPs Jose K. Mani, Dean Kuriakos, Thomas Chazhikadan, MLAs Mons Joseph and Roji M. John will attend the meeting. George Kurien, Stephen George, P.C. Cyriac, T.K. Jose, Santosh Jor Kulangara, Fr. George Platotum, Prof. K.M. Francis, Adv. and Jojo Jose gave messages.
