Kyiv - On September 19, Russia initiated a significant drone assault targeting Lviv, a western Ukrainian city. According to Ukrainian authorities, the attack resulted in the destruction of a warehouse purportedly containing humanitarian aid and claimed the life of one individual.

During the course of the night, Ukraine's air force successfully intercepted the majority of the 30 Shahed drones; however, those that managed to bypass the air defense systems ignited a massive blaze within an industrial storage facility, as stated by Governor Maksym Kozytsky.

Denise Brown, the UN humanitarian coordinator for Ukraine, expressed strong condemnation for the drone strikes. She pointed out that the attacks had not only razed a charity's warehouse housing critical relief supplies but also violated international humanitarian law, which safeguards the well-being of aid workers, facilities, and provisions.

Additionally, in separate Russian offensives, a precision-guided aerial bomb led to the tragic deaths of three civilians in Kupyansk, situated in the eastern Kharkiv region. Meanwhile, an artillery strike in Kherson, located in the southern part of Ukraine, targeted a bus, resulting in the demise of a police sergeant and injuring two other individuals. These events occurred as Ukrainian forces continued their painstaking but consistent advancements as part of an enduring counteroffensive.
