On Sunday, the public sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) implemented an immediate increase of Rs 209 in the prices of commercial LPG cylinders.
This price adjustment occurred approximately one month after the oil companies had reduced the rates of 19-kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 158.
It's worth noting that both commercial and domestic LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinder prices are subject to monthly revisions on the first day of each month. Therefore, the revised rates for commercial LPG gas cylinders are now in effect.
However, the price of domestic LPG, which is used for cooking purposes in households, remained unchanged at Rs 903 per 14.2-kg cylinder. Additionally, the prices of petrol and diesel remained steady.
As of now, petrol is priced at Rs 96.72 per litre in the national capital, and diesel is available at Rs 89.62 per litre.
Below are the updated prices for commercial LPG cylinders in various cities:
Delhi: Rs 1,731.50
Mumbai: Rs 1,684
Lucknow: Rs 1,845
Chennai: Rs 1,898
Bengaluru: Rs 1,813
Kolkata: Rs 1,839
