"Christmas with The Chosen: Holy Night"

On November 1, the popular Christian series "The Chosen" unveiled the trailer for its highly-anticipated Christmas special, titled "Christmas with The Chosen: Holy Night." This special will be exclusively shown in theaters from December 12 to 17, creating a unique holiday event for fans.

"Christmas with The Chosen: Holy Night" is a creative blend of two stories. It combines "The Messengers," a Christmas special portraying the story of Jesus' birth, with "The Shepherd," the pilot episode of "The Chosen." The entire production has been remastered and re-scored to create a seamless and emotionally resonant narrative.

The special takes a fresh perspective on the timeless tale of Jesus' birth, focusing on the experiences of a young mother labeled impure and a shepherd boy considered "unclean." Adding to the allure of this special is a never-before-seen performance by renowned Italian singers Andrea and Matteo Bocelli. The cast also includes other talented performers like Matt Maher, Brandon Lake, Zach Williams, One Voice Children's Choir, Joy to the World, and the Bonner Family.

Fans in the United States and Canada can secure their tickets for this unique cinematic experience starting on November 20. Dallas Jenkins, the creator, director, and co-writer of "The Chosen," expressed his excitement about the special, stating, "It turned out better than we expected." He highlighted the challenges of blending different crews, settings, and resources, but the story's beauty shines through.

Jenkins further explained, "We also took six of the performances from the first two specials that were the most resonant with viewers, we put them into this." In addition to these, there is an exclusive performance by the iconic Andrea Bocelli, who delivers a rendition of "O Holy Night" in Italy for this Christmas special.

Jenkins encouraged fans to experience the special in theaters, describing it as a "really beautiful experience." He hopes it will serve as a delightful bridge for viewers until the release of Season 4.

Originally launched as a crowdfunded project, "The Chosen" has become one of the most-watched series globally, amassing over 600 million combined episode views and more than 10 million social media followers.

The series is also on its way to making history as the most-translated series, with plans to offer subtitles in over 600 languages, making it accessible to a broader international audience.
