The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has launched a special commemorative stamp in tribute to Pope Leo XIV, featuring a portrait of the pontiff alongside symbols representing his papacy. A total of 10,000 copies have been printed, each priced at ₱17.
PHLPost said the release aims to reaffirm its mission of preserving history, culture, and faith through philately — the art of stamp collecting. The corporation noted that papal-themed stamps remain among the most sought-after globally, especially those associated with major Church events.
The stamp is expected to attract collectors, historians, and Catholic faithful alike, highlighting the enduring influence of the papacy and the role of philately in celebrating significant milestones.
