Join Us for 'Conversations in the Spirit': Women Engaging in Synodality

On April 23rd, approximately 1,400 individuals from across the globe will convene online for an event called "Conversations in the Spirit", organized by the World Union of Catholic Women's Organisations (WUCWO) in collaboration with the World Women's Observatory (WWO) and the Ignatian Encounter Ministry. This virtual gathering serves as a prelude to the second session of the Assembly of the Synod on Synodality set to take place in Rome this October.

The aim of "Conversations in the Spirit" is to actively implement synodal methodology while delving deeply into the involvement of women in a synodal Church on its mission. Through Zoom, participants will engage in structured discussions in various groups and languages including English, Spanish, and French, ensuring inclusivity and diverse perspectives. A team of 300 facilitators from across five continents is undergoing training to guide these small group discussions, ensuring adherence to the established methodology.

WUCWO, representing over 8 million Catholic women worldwide, expresses confidence that these conversations will not only foster active listening to the Spirit but also promote collaborative discernment and shared silence within Catholic faith communities. Registration for the event closes on April 18th and can be completed via this link: https://linktr.ee/wucwoevents.
