Monsignor James Palackal, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Changanassery, stated that Catholic Congress leaders should work with insight, keeping in mind the ever-changing political situations and social life circumstances. He was speaking at an event honoring the elected presidents and directors of various foranes of the Catholic Congress in the Changanassery Archdiocese.

He emphasized that our actions should reflect the culture of love that Christ demonstrated to the world. He also urged Catholic Congress leaders to lead the humanitarian and charitable projects proposed by the Church and to unite community members.

The conference was presided over by Archdiocesan Director Fr. Sebastian Chamakala. Archdiocesan President Biju Sebastian Padinjareveettil honored the new leaders. Archdiocesan General Secretary Binu Dominic Naduvilezham delivered a congratulatory speech. Archdiocesan Treasurer Jose John Venganthara, SecretaryJino Joseph Kalathil, Fr. Jenni Kayamkulathssery, Forane Presidents Shane Joseph Karakkal, Lali Elappunkal, Sebastian P.J., Kunjumon Thumbunkal, K.D. Chacko, Jomon Idathazhe, Sonichan Antony, Devasya Pulikkasserry, Binoy Idayadil, and V.C. Wilson also spoke at the event.
