In a devastating incident on the outskirts of Bangkok, around 25 people are feared dead after a school bus carrying students and teachers on a field trip caught fire on Tuesday. The tragic event has left the nation in shock, with 16 passengers hospitalized due to injuries.

The bus, filled with students and teachers from Uthai Thani province, approximately 250 kilometers north of the capital, was on a field trip when the fire broke out. While the exact number of casualties remains unconfirmed, Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul reported that up to 25 individuals are believed to have lost their lives.

Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra expressed her sorrow in a statement posted on social media, saying, "As a mother, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the families."
