Syro-Malabar Church Surpasses Ukrainian Church in Global Catholic Faithful, Ranks Second: Pontifical Yearbook 2023 Report

The number of Catholic faithful worldwide has increased. In terms of global Catholic faithful, the Syro-Malabar Church has surpassed the Ukrainian Church, securing the second position. Another Eastern church from India, the Syro-Malankara Church, is in eighth place in terms of the number of believers. The Syro-Malabar Church has a presence of believers on all continents.
