Dubai: BSNL customers can now use their SIM cards in both India and the UAE, thanks to a new international roaming feature. The telecom provider announced this update on its X (formerly Twitter) platform, making it easier for users to stay connected across borders.
This feature is initially available to BSNL customers in the Kerala circle. To activate or extend the international roaming service, users can choose from two special recharge plans:
- ₹57 for 30 days
- ₹167 for 90 days
These recharges are for activating or extending the validity of the international roaming service. However, customers will need to purchase additional recharges for calls and data usage separately.
The UAE was chosen for this initiative because of its significant population of Keralites, making this a valuable offering for those frequently traveling between the two regions.
With this plan, BSNL customers can seamlessly use their SIM cards for communication while in the UAE, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity.
