New Delhi: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website experienced an hour-long outage on Monday morning, disrupting online ticket booking for users. A message displayed on the site attributed the unavailability of the e-ticketing service to "maintenance activity."

Visitors to the website were greeted with a notification stating, "Due to maintenance activity, e-ticketing service will not be available for the next one hour. Please try later. For cancellation/file TDR, please call at customer care no. 14646, 0755-6610661 & 0755-4090600 or mail at [email protected]."
