Apple is set to introduce the highly anticipated iPhone 17 series this September, with rumors hinting at significant design upgrades. Although the official launch is still months away, renowned Apple leaker Sonny Dickson has shared images of dummy models, offering a first look at what’s to come.
The leaked images showcase a redesigned camera bump for the iPhone 17 Air and Pro models, while the standard iPhone 17 appears to retain a design similar to its predecessor. Notably, the images confirm MagSafe support across all four models, dispelling earlier speculation that the iPhone 17 Air would forgo the feature due to its slim profile and C1 chip. Some reports had suggested that MagSafe could interfere with the chip’s functionality, but the dummy models indicate otherwise.
In terms of cameras, the Pro variants will sport a triple-lens setup, while the standard iPhone 17 models will continue with a dual-camera system. However, the iPhone 17 Air will stand out with a single-camera design, aligning with previous leaks.
Additionally, the dummy models reveal that all four iPhone 17 variants will include both an action button and a dedicated camera control button.
Apple is expected to launch four models in the iPhone 17 lineup: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Ultra. With major design refinements and enhanced features, the upcoming series is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing iPhone releases in recent years.
