American Toddler Recovers After Holding Breath for 52 Minutes, Attributed to Cardinal George Pell’s Intercession

Melbourne: A remarkable recovery has been reported in Arizona, where an 18-month-old American boy, Vincent, miraculously healed after holding his breath for an astonishing 52 minutes. The boy’s parents sought the intercession of the late Australian Cardinal George Pell, and medical experts are calling his survival nothing short of extraordinary.

Sydney Archbishop Anthony Fisher shared this incredible account at a commemorative event for Cardinal Pell in Sydney. “The child fell into a swimming pool and remained without breath for 52 minutes. His parents prayed for Cardinal Pell’s intercession, and against all odds, he survived with no damage to his brain, lungs, or heart. Today, he is thriving, and doctors are calling it a miracle,” the Archbishop stated.

Who Was Cardinal George Pell?

Cardinal George Pell, Australia’s most senior Catholic priest, passed away in 2023. He previously held a prominent role as the head of the Vatican’s financial department from 2014 to 2019. Though he was imprisoned in Australia in a POCSO case in 2019, he was acquitted and released a year later after being found innocent.

Renowned for his influence, Cardinal Pell was one of the wealthiest Catholic figures in Australia and internationally. He also served as Archbishop of both Melbourne and Sydney
