Ties to Pakistani Terror Networks: Probe Agency Unveils Names of 14 Local Operatives

In a significant development, the investigation agency has exposed a network of local individuals allegedly linked to Pakistani terror outfits. A list comprising 14 names from various regions across Kashmir has been made public, accompanied by their photographs.

According to officials, those named are aged between 20 and 40 and maintain close affiliations with Pakistan-based terrorist groups, including Hizbul Mujahideen, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The agency revealed that these individuals played active roles in aiding infiltrators from Pakistan by offering food, shelter, and financial support.

Breaking down the list, three individuals are connected to Hizbul Mujahideen, eight are associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, and three with Jaish-e-Mohammed. Most of them are believed to have joined these terror networks during 2021 and 2022. Notably, one among them is accused of facilitating the terrorists involved in the Pulwama attack.

The individuals named are: Adil Rehman Dentoo (21), Asif Ahmed Sheikh (28), Ahsan Ahmed Sheikh (23), Haris Nazir (20), Aamir Nazir Wani (20), Yawar Ahmed Bhat, Asif Ahmed Khandai (24), Shahidani Ahmed (24), W21 Ahmed, Aamir Ahmed Dar, Adnan Safi Dar, Zubair Ahmed Wani (39), Haroon Rashid Ganai (32), and Zakir Ahmed Ghani (29).
