A Clear Conscience Is Life’s Greatest Wealth: Vinci Aloysius Inspires Youth at Synod 2025

A clear conscience and unwavering conviction are the greatest riches a person can possess, declared film actor Vinci Aloysius, addressing youth at the closing ceremony of the 2025 Youth Synod organized by the Diocese of Mananthavady K.CYM. Speaking with heartfelt clarity, Vinci emphasized that true success in life is only possible when we rise above addiction and live in alignment with our inner values. “If you carry a clear conscience,” he said, “no height is unreachable.”

The Youth Synod, hosted over three days at the Dwarka Pastoral Center, brought together 224 young participants. Through group discussions, debates, and collective reflection, valuable ideas were generated to guide future youth initiatives within the diocese. All participants were honored with certificates for their involvement.

The concluding ceremony was inaugurated by Auxiliary Bishop Mar Alex Taramangalam, with Diocesan President Bibin Pilapillali chairing the session. Director Fr. Santo Ambalathara delivered a powerful keynote address, setting the tone for the day.

Other key voices included Vice President Ashna Palarikunnel, General Secretary Vimal Kochupurackal, Secretaries Duna Kizhakke Mannur and Justin Lucas Neelamparambil, Treasurer Naveen Pulakudiyil, Coordinator Jobin Thadathil, and Animator Sister Bensi Jose SH. Their contributions reflected a collective spirit of service, leadership, and moral clarity—hallmarks of a youth community ready to lead with purpose.
