Mananthavady: With the monsoon arriving earlier than expected and already causing widespread disruption across the state, the KCYM Mananthavady Diocese Task Force has declared itself fully equipped and operational to respond to any emergency situations that may arise. The diocesan leadership, acknowledging the increasing severity of the rains and the forecast of heavier downpours in the coming days, has completed all necessary preparations for disaster response across the region.

The task force has been systematically formed in all thirteen regional centers under the diocese, in addition to the diocesan headquarters. Each region now has a dedicated team of trained youth volunteers ready to step in with aid, rescue efforts, and emergency support. The leadership has assured the public that in any crisis—be it landslides, flooding, or displacement—the KCYM task force is prepared to respond with urgency and compassion. Their responsibilities include coordinating with local authorities, conducting rescue operations, providing relief materials, and supporting affected families during the ongoing monsoon period.

The KCYM’s rapid mobilization underscores its commitment to social responsibility and community service, particularly during times of distress. As weather forecasts continue to warn of intensified rainfall, the Diocese urges all residents to stay alert and utilize the support network in place. In this time of uncertainty, the KCYM Mananthavady Diocese Task Force stands as a symbol of solidarity, service, and swift action.
