Palarivattom: The Cherupushpa Mission League has officially unveiled its annual action plan themed “Pilgrims of Hope in Christ’s Harvest Field”, outlining a year-long roadmap for its state-level initiatives. The document serves as a spiritual and operational guide for the Mission League’s activities across Kerala, aiming to deepen missionary zeal among the youth and laity.
The launch ceremony was held at Palarivattom and marked by a solemn release of the guidelines. The Vicar General of the Diocese of Thamarassery, Msgr. Abraham Vayalil, along with Diocesan Director Fr. George Vellaramkalayil, jointly released the document. The event was presided over by State President Ranjith Muthuplakkal, with State Vice Director Fr. Jithin Velikakathu also in attendance.
The program brought together a host of Church and Mission League leaders who reflected on the significance of the theme. State General Secretary Jason Pulichumakkal presented an overview of the guidelines. Other notable speakers included Santa Maria Robinson from the Kodanchery Branch, Vice Director of Thamarassery Diocese Sister Princy CMC, Senior Vice President of the Diocese Annemarie Kochuthottiyil, and Junior Vice President Anlia Saji Mezhukanal.
Kodanchery Forona Vicar Fr. Kuriakose Ikolumpil formally welcomed the participants, while Diocesan Secretary Arun Joseph conveyed a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the team’s collective efforts in shaping the plan.
Also playing a key role in the event were Fr. Geo Kadukhamakkal, Antony Churapaikayil, and Sister Helen FCC, who guided the ceremony and offered spiritual reflections.
The newly released guidelines aim to reawaken the missionary spirit among young Catholics and foster a deeper commitment to evangelization and service in local communities. With the theme rooted in hope and harvest, the Mission League invites its members to journey forward in faith and action throughout the coming year.
