Tehran: Iran has declared its intention to carry on with military operations against Israel and warned that the scope of its retaliation will soon extend to include American military installations across the region. According to a report published Saturday by Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency, top military leaders have signaled that the latest strikes are only the beginning of a broader campaign.

"This confrontation is far from over. What occurred last night was merely a preliminary response," military sources told Fars. "The attacks will intensify, and the consequences for those responsible will be severe and deeply regrettable."

The officials further warned that the conflict will soon encompass “every territory under the control of the Israeli regime” as well as U.S. bases stationed throughout the Middle East. This ominous forecast comes as hostilities between Iran and Israel persist, following Israel’s largest-ever aerial offensive aimed at thwarting Iran’s suspected nuclear ambitions.
