Kakkanad— His Beatitude Major Archbishop Mar Raphael Thattil warmly received Msgr. Jose Sebastian Thekkumcherikunnel, the newly appointed Bishop-elect of the Diocese of Jalandhar, at Mount St. Thomas, the Major Archiepiscopal Curia of the Syro-Malabar Church, in Kakkanad on Thursday.

During the cordial meeting, Major Archbishop Thattil extended the prayerful greetings and best wishes of the entire Syro-Malabar Church to the Bishop-elect as he prepares to begin his new Apostolic ministry. The interaction reflected the spirit of unity and support within the Church as Msgr. Thekkumcherikunnel steps into his new pastoral leadership role.
