Washington: According to Reuters Report; U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that American forces had executed a powerful and precise strike on three Iranian nuclear facilities, including the heavily fortified Fordow site. In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump called the mission a “very successful attack” and confirmed that all American aircraft involved were returning safely. He also extended praise to “our great American Warriors” for their efforts.
Wrapping up his message with a call for calm, Trump wrote, “Now is the time for peace,” signaling a possible desire for de-escalation following over a week of intense aerial clashes between Israel and Iran that have left casualties on both sides.
Trump later emphasized the destruction of the Fordow facility, a key underground uranium enrichment site near Natanz, declaring, “Fordow is gone.” Reports suggest the strike was carried out by U.S. B-2 bombers, which had been deployed to Guam earlier that day.
Although U.S. sources confirmed the involvement of American forces, it remains uncertain whether Israeli military assets played any role in this particular operation. The bombings mark a dramatic escalation in the regional conflict, which has so far defied diplomatic intervention by Western powers. Iran, meanwhile, continues to assert that its nuclear pursuits are strictly peaceful in nature.
