The Little Star Who Wanted to Shine

The Little Star Who Wanted to Shine

Far, far away in the night sky, there was a tiny star named Luma. She was the smallest star in her family and always thought, “I am too small to shine like the others.”

Every evening, her big brother stars twinkled brightly, lighting up the sky. Luma tried her best, but her sparkle was soft, like the glow of a firefly.

One night, as Luma looked down sadly, she saw a little boy sitting alone on his balcony. He was afraid of the dark. The boy whispered, “I wish someone would keep me company tonight.”

Luma’s heart warmed. She gathered all her courage and shone as brightly as she could. Though her light was tiny compared to the others, the boy noticed her. His eyes sparkled, and he smiled, whispering, “Thank you, little star. You make me feel safe.”

From that night on, Luma never doubted herself again. She realized that even the smallest light can make a big difference to someone.

And so, Luma twinkled with pride, happy to be the little star who brought comfort to the boy.

Moral: No matter how small you are, your light can brighten someone’s world.
