Israel Won’t Participate in Upcoming UK Arms Show After Defense Officials Barred from Attending

Jerusalem:  Israel has announced it will not participate in the upcoming DSEI UK 2025 defense exhibition in London after Israeli Defense Ministry officials were barred from attending the event. While Israeli arms companies are still permitted to showcase their products, the government’s decision to withdraw marks a significant diplomatic protest against the UK authorities’ move.

A UK source confirmed that although individual companies can take part, Israeli government officials will not be allowed to attend or represent the ministry at the exhibition. The decision comes amid ongoing tensions in international defense relations and reflects Israel’s dissatisfaction with the treatment of its representatives.

Israeli officials stated that the boycott underscores the importance of fair treatment for participating nations in international defense forums. The ministry added that it remains committed to supporting its defense industry, but the absence of official representation sends a strong message about Israel’s stance on the issue.

The DSEI UK exhibition, scheduled for later this year, is one of the world’s major defense trade shows, attracting countries, defense contractors, and military officials from across the globe. Israel’s absence of official ministry personnel is expected to be noted by participants and observers alike.
