Maliparambil Award distribution ceremony, tomorrow at Arpookkara. The event will bring together leaders and representatives of the Mission League from local branches to international levels, highlighting the continuing legacy of its visionary founder.
The memorial session will be presided over by State President Ranjith Muthuplakkal. Archbishop Emeritus Mar Joseph Perunthottam will inaugurate the function and will also present the prestigious Fr. Maliparambil Award to this year’s honoree.

The presence of CML office bearers from across Kerala and international chapters is expected to lend the gathering a spirit of unity and mission-focused renewal.
For the 2025–26 operating year, the award will be conferred on Fr. Anthony Thekkemuri of the Thalassery Archdiocese, recognizing his contributions to faith formation and missionary activities.
The award selection was finalized by a committee led by Mar Thomas Tharayil, Archbishop of Changanassery and Patron of CML, along with Fr. Shiju Ikkarakanayil, President Ranjith Muthuplakkal, Secretary Jason Pulichumakkal, and Organizer Thomas Athikakkallungal.
The memorial and award ceremony stands as a moment to honor both the life of Fr. Maliparambil and the ongoing commitment of priests and laity who strengthen the Mission League’s role in the spiritual and social life of the Church.
