India’s Servotech Expands into Mauritius EV and Solar Market Through Enovra Partnership

Port Louis:  Indian renewable energy company Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. has officially entered the Mauritian market by partnering with local firm Enovra Energy Solutions Ltd. The agreement, signed on September 15, 2025, aims to expand the adoption of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and solar energy solutions across Mauritius and surrounding regions.

Under the partnership, Enovra Energy Solutions will act as Servotech’s exclusive distributor in Mauritius. The company will manage the deployment and distribution of Servotech’s EV chargers and solar energy systems. The collaboration is expected to combine Servotech’s advanced technology with Enovra’s local market expertise to provide affordable and sustainable energy solutions to Mauritian consumers.

Nadir Soobratty, Director of Enovra Energy Solutions, said the collaboration represents a significant step toward making renewable energy more accessible and affordable for the people of Mauritius. He emphasized the partnership’s role in delivering world-class solar and EV charging infrastructure to the nation.

Mauritius has been positioning itself as a key market for electric mobility in sub-Saharan Africa, with recent launches by Tata.ev and Stellantis-supported Leapmotor vehicles supported by a favorable regulatory environment. Servotech’s entry aligns with these developments and is expected to accelerate the decarbonization of the country’s transport sector. The move also strengthens economic and strategic ties between Mauritius and India in the renewable energy sector.

Following the announcement, Servotech’s stock price rose by 4 percent, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s international expansion strategy and the growing global demand for renewable energy solutions.

Looking ahead, the partnership is poised to contribute significantly to Mauritius’s clean energy transition by providing scalable and sustainable EV and solar solutions, while promoting greater international collaboration in renewable energy development.
