Thiruvananthapuram: A new contribution to the field of theology has been unveiled with the publication of “Divine Revelation and Holy Scripture”, authored by renowned theologian and scholar Fr. Dr. Arun Mattathil. Published by Thiruvananthapuram Carmel Publications, the work offers a clear and accessible presentation of key theological themes centered on divine revelation and the sacred scriptures.

Speaking about his work, Fr. Fr. Dr. Mattathil is an established scholar in the Church, holding a doctorate in dogmatic theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. A priest of the Palakkad diocese, he has authored several works on theology and frequently contributes articles and lectures in seminaries and formation centers. Alongside his academic pursuits, he also serves the Church in multiple roles: Director of STARS, the diocesan lay training center; Director of the Family Apostolate in Palakkad; and currently as General Secretary of the Synodal Commission for Families, Laity and Life of the Syro-Malabar Church.
