Nagpur: The Catholic community of central India witnessed a remarkable display of unity and faith as over 1,200 delegates from the Dioceses of Nagpur, Amravati, Aurangabad, and Chanda came together to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope. Held on October 2, the event was a milestone of spiritual renewal, dialogue, and collaboration under the leadership of Archbishop Elias Gonsalves of Nagpur.

The gathering commenced with a formal inauguration led by Bishop Malcom Sequeira of Amravati, setting a tone of shared mission and regional solidarity. Archbishop Elias Gonsalves delivered the Keynote Address, reflecting on the theme of hope and the importance of journeying together as pilgrims of faith.
