Sawantwadi: Milagris School and Jr. College, nestled in the Diocese of Sindhudurg, came alive with devotion and festivity on October 7, as students, staff, and community members gathered to celebrate Marian Night under the theme, “Mary, our hope and joy.” The event, held in the school auditorium, drew around 400 participants, reflecting the school’s inclusive spirit and deep-rooted faith traditions.
The evening commenced with a series of spiritual activities led by Principal Fr. Richard Saldanha, setting a tone of reflection and reverence. This was followed by a solemn Holy Eucharist, presided over by Fr. Amrut as the main celebrant, alongside six other priests. The collective participation of the clergy added depth and sanctity to the celebrations, inspiring attendees with a sense of shared faith and devotion.
The gathering included teachers, students, parents, parishioners, catechists, children from the Jesus’ Joy Club, and staff members, highlighting a remarkable blend of generations and backgrounds. The event emphasized the enduring role of Mother Mary as a beacon of hope and joy, fostering unity and spiritual reflection among all participants.
