Massive fire breaks out at showroom in Gurugram, no injuries reported

Gurugram:  A major fire broke out early Tuesday morning at a showroom in Gurugram, Haryana, prompting a swift response from local fire and rescue teams. The blaze was reported around 2:30 a.m., when the shop owner received an alert about flames spreading through the building.

Fire officials confirmed that two fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the site, with backup units placed on standby. Thick smoke engulfed the area as firefighters battled for several hours to bring the flames under control.

No casualties or injuries have been reported so far. Authorities said the cause of the fire remains under investigation, and a full assessment of the damage is underway.

The incident comes amid a series of fire-related emergencies reported across the region in the aftermath of Diwali celebrations. Delhi fire services alone received more than 400 distress calls following the festival, raising concerns over safety compliance in commercial and residential areas.

Local officials have urged business owners to review fire safety measures to prevent similar incidents in the coming weeks.
