Delhi Police arrests two suspected ISIS operatives planning attack

New Delhi: Delhi Police has arrested two suspected ISIS operatives who were planning a major attack in the national capital. The arrests were made in a co-ordinated operation with the Jharkhand Anti Terrorism Squad and Ranchi Police.

The suspects, identified as Adnan and another individual from Bhopal, were reportedly trained in carrying out suicide attacks. Authorities seized electronic devices and other materials from them, which are now being examined.

The suspects are under interrogation to understand the full extent of their plans and connections. Police said the operation highlights the ongoing threat of radicalization and the need for strong counter terrorism measures in cities.
