Kottayam: The upgraded version of Deepika.com, recognized as the first Malayalam news website, was officially relaunched at a ceremony held at the Ricca Club in Thrikkakara.

The event was inaugurated by Major Archbishop Mar Raphael Thattil, the Father and Head of the Syro Malabar Church. The relaunch of the Deepika News Portal was performed by Minister for Industries P. Rajeev.

Film actor Narain conducted the switch-on ceremony of the Deepika Online News Channel. The inauguration of the Deepika Music Channel was performed by Rev. Dr. Thomas Chathamparambil CMI, Prior General of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate.

The renewed Deepika.com aims to provide readers with a modern digital experience, combining the publication’s long-standing heritage with new technology to deliver news and multimedia content to audiences worldwide.
