Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Lotteries Department announced the results of the Pooja Bumper BR 106 draw on Saturday afternoon. The draw was held at Gorky Bhavan near Bakery Junction in the state capital at 2 pm.

The first prize of twelve crore rupees went to ticket number JD 545542. Officials said the winning ticket was sold in Palakkad district through Kingstar Lottery Agency. The agent was identified as S Suresh.

The Pooja Bumper is one of the most popular special draws conducted by the state. Each ticket for this draw cost three hundred rupees. This year the lottery department issued more than three lakh prizes across different categories, including four prizes of three lakh rupees and other lower tier amounts.

Due to the model code of conduct in place for the local body elections, the draw was held without a public event. Officials reminded participants to check results through the official lottery website and to follow the required procedure for claiming prizes.

Winners of major prizes are required to submit the ticket for verification at the lottery department headquarters within the specified deadline.
