Dibrugarh: The spirit of faith and fellowship came alive as World Youth Day was celebrated at Hawaipathar under Jagun Parish in the Dibrugarh Diocese, drawing nearly 200 young people from parish communities and neighboring villages. The gathering offered a meaningful platform for the youth to celebrate their faith, rejuvenate their commitment to the Church, and engage in a day filled with learning, interaction, and communal bonding. The event underscored the importance of youth involvement, faith formation, and active participation in both spiritual and social spheres.
The celebration commenced with the Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by the Diocesan Youth Director, who inspired the young participants to deepen their faith, uphold Christian values in their daily lives, and embrace responsible roles within the Church and society.
After the Mass, the program continued with interactive sessions focusing on faith development, leadership, and the role of young people in shaping a positive future. Resource persons motivated the youth to recognize their individual talents and to use these gifts confidently for the service of others.
Adding a touch of fun to the day, a Bible Quiz was organized, allowing participants to display their knowledge of Scripture while enhancing their understanding of God’s Word in an engaging and enjoyable manner.
The event successfully blended spiritual enrichment, educational engagement, and fellowship, leaving the youth empowered and motivated to live out their faith actively in their communities.
