Aluva: The Kerala Catholic Bishops Council faith formation commission will conduct the Lastoria Quiz 2025 tomorrow, December 7, across parishes. The quiz will be held at the diocese level and is open to students from parish catechism classes.

Students who win at the diocese level will qualify for the state level competition, which is scheduled for February 8, 2026.

The study material for this year’s quiz is the book Adiverukal written by John Ochanthuruth. Students are required to study pages 1 to 176 for the competition.

Faith formation commission secretary Father Mathew Puthiyath said the purpose of organizing the Lastoria Quiz is to inspire young learners to study the history of the Church and the Christian community. He added that such competitions help strengthen faith and understanding among catechism students.

Parishes across the region are preparing for the event, and teachers expect strong participation from students.
