Singapore: Singapore will invest more than 779 million US dollars in public artificial intelligence research by 2030, as part of its long term plan to strengthen technology and innovation in the country.
The funding will support research in key areas such as responsible and trustworthy ai, energy efficient computing, and the development of local talent. The government said the goal is to build strong foundations in ai while making sure the technology is used safely and for public benefit.
