Beijing: Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to make a rare visit to North Korea in the coming days, according to reports from regional media and diplomatic sources, raising fresh attention on relations between Beijing and Pyongyang at a time of growing global tensions.
Although neither the Chinese government nor North Korea has officially confirmed the visit, several South Korean and international media organisations reported that preparations are already underway in Pyongyang.
