London: In Britain, Prime Minister Liz Truss has appointed former Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt as Finance Minister, replacing Kwasi Kwarteng.

Hunt, who has also handled the health department, supported Truss' rival Rishi Sunak in the party leadership race.

Kwarteng lost his position less than six weeks after the announcement of tax breaks in the mini-budget caused setbacks in the economy.

The Prime Minister recalled the Finance Minister who had left to attend the IMF meeting in Washington and demanded his resignation.

Minister of State for Finance Kiss Phillips was also out. He was replaced by Edward Arger.

The Trust has also stated that most of the announcements will be withdrawn as the Conservative Party itself has criticized the tax breaks.

It is reported that the rebels have started moving to remove Truss and bring in Rishi Sunak as the leader while the government is backing away from the fiscal policy that has had an impact on the global market by saying that it will raise the relaxed corporate tax.

Various reports say that public anger is increasing day by day in Britain. There are also reports that Tory MPs are calling for the removal of the prime minister, who led the country into a massive recession in his first month in office. The rising demand is to replace Rishi Sunak or Penny Mordaunt as Prime Minister.
