WEST BANK - Lucy Dee, the mother of two British-Israeli sisters, Maia and Rina Dee, who were killed in a shooting attack in the West Bank, has also died from her wounds. The shooting attack occurred on Friday, and the suspects are believed to be Palestinian assailants who attacked the car that the sisters and their mother were traveling in, close to an Israeli settlement.
Maia and Rina Dee, aged 20 and 15, respectively, lost their lives in the attack. Their mother, Lucy Dee, aged 45, was also in the car at the time and had been in a coma in the hospital since the attack. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries, and her passing was announced on Monday.
The father and husband of the victims, Rabbi Leo Dee, who witnessed the attack from a separate vehicle, was unharmed. He paid tribute to his daughters and spoke of his grief at their funeral, referring to them as "beautiful angels." The incident is tragic, and such violence has no place in society. It is essential for all parties involved to work towards peaceful resolutions and prevent such senseless acts of violence from occurring in the future.
