Paris - France continues to burn for a fifth consecutive night as protests intensify following the alleged police "execution" of a 17-year-old boy. In the midst of the chaos, rioters carried out a shocking act by ramming a burning car into the residence of Mayor Vincent Jeanbrun, resulting in injuries to his wife and child. Mayor Jeanbrun has described the incident as an "assassination attempt."
The attack took place in the early hours of Sunday, targeting Jeanbrun's home located in L'Hay-les-Roses, a Paris suburb. As the violent demonstrations escalated, a total of 719 individuals were arrested across France.
Taking to Twitter, Mayor Jeanbrun revealed that protesters had deliberately crashed a car into his house and set it on fire while his family was asleep. Despite the traumatic event, he expressed his unwavering determination to stand firm and continue his duty to protect and serve the Republic.
