Sharjah ∙ The Sharjah International Book Fair is truly a haven for young readers who inject dynamic energy into the event through their literary creations. Among them is Saira Sam, an eighth-grade student at Our One English High School in Sharjah and the daughter of Sam Joe Antony and Rhea Jose from Kottayam Changanassery.

Saira is set to unveil her debut novel, "A Tale of Twisted Ties," at the ongoing international book fair at the Sharjah Expo Center. The young author is enthusiastic about sharing the details of her murder mystery novel, which kicks off with the discovery of the lifeless body of a recent graduate named Lauren Zea Lexington in the Grand Library of the town.

Assigned to crack the case is the female detective Isabella Scones, leading readers through a captivating journey of secrets and intricate connections. Saira extends an invitation to readers to join her on this intriguing investigation, promising a storyline that consistently elevates excitement to unexpected heights.

Reflecting on the genesis of her writing journey, Saira recalls being a regular visitor to the school library, where she observed fellow student Lata writing book reviews for the librarian. In April 2023, her English teacher, Farzana Ma'am, prompted her to craft a story for Saira, sparking the inspiration that ultimately led to the development of "A Tale of Twisted Ties." Saira expresses gratitude to Farzana Ma'am for her invaluable guidance throughout the creative process.
