Mar Raphael Thattil Releases “Apostolate of St Thomas in India”

Major Archbishop Mar Raphael Thattil Released “Apostolate of St Thomas in India,” a Research Project on the History of the Missionary Journey of St Thomas the Apostle, Published by LRC.

The book "Apostolate of St. Thomas in India," formed as a result of historical research conducted under the leadership of the Liturgical Research Centre (LRC), the research center of the Syro-Malabar Church, was released by Major Archbishop Mar Raphael Thattil during the Church Day celebrations at Mount St. Thomas in Kakkanad.



The content of the book sheds light on the historical evidence of the missionary activities of St. Thomas, the Apostle of Christ, in India. Professor Fr. Pius Malekandathil is the chief editor of the book. This historical work, which contains fourteen chapters, has been published by Primus Publishers, Delhi. Copies are available at the Liturgical Research Centre in Kakkanad.
