Iringalakuda: Pope Francis unveiled the poster for Jesus and Mother Mary, the world's first 3D Bible movie, at the Vatican. Produced by Raphael Film Productions, a company led by Iringalakuda-native Raphael Pozholiparambil, the film will be available in English and multiple other languages. Directed by Thomas Benjamin, the movie boasts an international team of co-producers, including Qatar-based businessman Davis Edakkalathur and ten others from India and the UAE.

The film's visual effects are being overseen by Chuck Comiskey, renowned for his work as the visual effects supervisor on James Cameron’s iconic film Avatar. Prosthetic makeup for the movie is being handled by Machinarium, a company with headquarters in both the UK and Italy. The film was officially announced in March 2020.
